Ron Clyde has been involved in real estate in the state of South Carolina since receiving his real estate license in 1979. Now the owner and principal broker of Clyde Realty LLC in Simpsonville specializing in commercial real estate, home sales, investment properties and real estate management, Ron founded the firm in 1993 after a career with Prudential, C. Dan Joyner and ReMax Realty Professionals Inc. Over the years Ron has been involved in all aspects of the firm’s real estate, multifamily, office, commercial and industrial brokerage. He has been involved in many property developments beginning with the successful negotiation of the completion of the Hudder’s Creek subdivision in Simpsonville in 1990.

Ron specializes in property, housing, investment and resort brokerage. In addition to seller mediation, Ron specializes in buyer representation. Although no longer actively appraising real estate, Ron completed all of the courses required for the real estate appraisal license in 1993. He also has 25 years of experience as a construction project manager. Ron studied computer science at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. Ron is committed to continuing his real estate education and has completed numerous courses to this end.

As a Certified Emergency Medical Responder, Senior Member of the National Ski Patrol, and Level II Certified Professional Ski Instructor of America Alpine Ski Instructor, Ron is an active contributor to the first aid community. Through his NSP and PSIA operations, Ron provides a wealth of brokerage services to investors and vacation home owners looking for resort properties throughout North America.

As an income generating real estate investor, Ron can help clients navigate capital gains taxes and advise on investment grade acquisitions. One of his specialties is tax-advantaged exchanges using IRS Section 1031 real estate transfer and replacement rules.
